Today is the first day I serve in Class Love. First, we went to office to fill in our personal information on forms and chose a class to serve. Teacher said, ‘Team members of Cyberfair all need to be volunteers in Class Love.’ Because we are not volunteer, some of us are reluctant. Teacher encourages me to take it easy. Thanks to teacher’s instruction, I think that I can do well.

Kai-Hsiang and I take care of the same class which is Grade Three Class Love. There are five students in the class. The teacher asked me to take care of two students—one is Liang and the other one is Ling. Liang is mischievous and talkative. It takes a while to help him to brush teeth. He doesn't know how to rinse his mouth and he always swallows the water while rinsing his mouth. I have to remind him. As for Ling, I don't have to help her to brush her teeth. I only have to accompany her while she is brushing her teeth.

Ling can brush her teeth herself but she can't wash her own face, so I have to teach her. First, I have to remind her to wet the towel and teach her how to dry the towel. And I need to remind her to wipe her face for three times including the front and the back of the neck and two hands. Then teach her to hang the towel and washing face is complete.

Today when I was helping Liang to brush his teeth, his head kept moving. It seemed that he didn't want to brush his teeth. It took a long time to complete brushing the teeth.

Today I teach Liang and Ling how to eat. Teacher told us that we have to hold their hand first and say ‘Open!’ and then put the spoon into the mouth. When I was helping them to clean up leftover, I felt a little afraid because I afraid that they will put food into the wrong place such as trash can or throw food on me. It might be very embarrassing. When I was teaching them eating food, they didn't interact with me. I felt that I am their parents and have to teach them seriously.

When I arrived at the restaurant on the fifth floor, they were eating except Liang. Teacher told us that sometimes they will be in a bad temper, and at this time we have to be patient to feed them. Liang is talkative. Teacher told us that besides assisting him eating and brushing teeth, we have to teach him to be calm and quiet. Because he always says what he wants to say and what he says is very impolite to others, I have to stop him keeping saying impolite words. In the beginning, I was afraid of getting close to them but now I think that they are my good friends because they like to get along with me and listen to what I tell them to do.

Today I noticed that if I do not give them direction when they are brushing teeth, they will not know what to do and will just stand in front of the basin. I will give them a direction and when they finish the action, I will give the next direction to them. First, I say ‘hold tightly the toothbrush,’ ‘press the toothpaste,’ ‘brush the upper teeth,’ ‘and brush the lower teeth,’ ‘take the cup,’ ‘fill in the water,’ ‘rinse the mouth,’ ‘spit the water,’ ‘wash the toothbrush,’ and finally ‘put your toothbrush and cup back.’ After those steps, they can complete ‘brushing teeth.’

It rains a lot today. We still came to help Class Love under the bad weather. Because teacher was afraid that students would get wet, they did not have to brush teeth today. Today we only had to wash their face. In order to wash their face, we needed to run through the playground to get their classroom in Class Love building. When we thought that they cannot complete the washing action themselves, we didn't care that we would get wet and ran to their classroom. Although we only helped them to wash their face today, I felt happy after helping them.

Today I helped them brush teeth but did not help them to wash their face because they had Spaghetti today and they would get their clothes dirty while eating. Therefore, teacher said that we have to assist them in washing their face and we understood that teacher wanted us to watch over them to clean up after having lunch.

I had an exam today, so I was late to my class. When I arrived at my class, I saw that Ling was crying. I asked teacher what happened to her and then knew that someone got the wrong towel. Ling was angry and beat her. Then Ling started to cry. Later, teacher told Ling that she can't beat others and asked her to say sorry to the one beat by her. The quarrel finished.

Teacher said the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching and in order to thank our help, they sent us moon cakes. Those moon cakes were made by students of Class Love. I think the moon cakes are the most delicious cakes in the world. Although I don’t know how to make moon cakes, I know those cakes are delicate and students spent a lot of time to make them. The content of the cakes are really delicious. Those students are good chefs.

Today is the last day to help students of Class Love and the first day students of 4^th grade started to help the class. They met the problems we encountered in the beginning of being volunteers. I understood that we have great progress in being a volunteer. I worry about those new volunteers who do not have enough experience. I said goodbye to them and felt so sad for leaving students in the class. They are like my brothers who rely on my a lot. I can do the things that I was afraid to do. I feel so happy. Although they are naughty, they are really cute and like little angels. During the mouth, we got along with each other happily. I found that they are like normal people with delayed reaction. We are fortunate that we are healthy, so we have to be grateful.

Today I am going to pass on my experience to new volunteers from 4^th grade. I need to teach them what I learned and notice them the place they need to be careful. They asked some nonsense questions and I really didn't want to answer them. What they need to know is to understand how to take care of students of Class Love. I am afraid that if there is accidence happened, they will not know what to do. In addition, they do not know those students yet, so they will be strange and afraid. The time is so short that I haven't explained all important points. Although I am sad that I need to say goodbye to those students, because we got other affairs to deal with, we have to finish the volunteer work.

 Let's brush teeth

　　Today is the last day I serve in Class Love. I cannot let go off anything about them. I remember that the first day I came here and no one know me and didn’t want to talk to me and interact with me. At that time I was angry and afraid because I didn't know them too. Fortunately, teacher instructed me how to take care of those students.
