Come on. Let’s go on to the trails! Nowadays, there are nine walking trails in Dakeng. Let Little Tangerine introduce them to you: Walking Trail No.1-2 can lead you into a wonderland, Walking Trail No.3-5 can challenge your physical strength, No.6-9 is an easier and more relaxing routes for the little kids: Each walking trail has its characteristic. Everyone is welcome to join us to do some exercise and see the beautiful sight.

    The walking trails of Dakeng locate in baoan timberland, therefore it preserves the earliest original landscape and many kinds of animals and plants. Taichung City Government started to promote the leisure amusement for the forest in the early days. In addition, four walking tails were built in the Dakeng area between the eastern Liankeng Lane and the boundary of mountains in Taichung County. Walking Trail No.1-4 was built by Dakeng’s natural landform. Each walking trail are separated by a river bed from the other one and presented the square forms.  In 1990 the government further constructed Walking Trail No.6-8 in the Wind Moving Rock Park, on the north of Jyungongliao. The end of these three trails is Wind Moving Rock Park. People can see Taichung City and Taiping area in a broaden view. There are many fruit trees along The No.9th way. Walking Trail No.9 is very popular for visitors can stop in Jingbuku parking lot on Dongshan Road first, then walk to the middle of Walking Trail No.6, and keep walking forward to Walking Trail No.7-8.
