960724-8 Good stage manners let you do well in the presentation.
Today I introduced the scene ¡¥the patio and the Compass¡¦ to freshmen. This is my first time and it is special. I was very nervous. While introducing, I recited my speech note loudly. When we were discussing the activity, they thought that I do the best because I am more active, not nervous, and have eye contact with students. Teacher also said I have a good stage manner.

960724-9 I was too nervous to remember what I have prepared before. Speech really needs a lot of training and practice.
When I saw a lot of people, I started to be nervous because I was afraid of doing badly in front of those students. When it's my turn to introduce ¡¥the Sundial,¡¦ I was too nervous to speak clearly. After a couple of minutes, I felt better and spoke smoothly. I usually did badly before, so I practiced a lot this time. Practice really helps.

960906 Being volunteers in Class Love
When I know that we were going to be volunteers in Class Love for one month, in fact, I was kind of reluctant. Because they had a bad impression on me and I didn't know how to do volunteer work, I was reluctant to do the job. However, when I saw other members seemed excited about the job, I started to feel excited as well. First, we had to fill out the volunteer form.

Then we are assigned to different classes. I decided to take care of them well no matter which class I go.

When I helped students of Class Love to brush teeth and wash their face, I went to help a student as I saw he needed help. When I came to him, he hugged me and said he is koala. I was surprised and felt that he is funny. I think that he regarded me as a eucalyptus. They are so cute.

Today teacher taught me a new skill to revise my volunteer journals. By making use of the ¡¥replace¡¦ function under ¡¥Edit¡¦ menu, I can replace wrong words or characters with the correct words or characters. The skill is really helpful.
