I feel so happy today for we are going to attend a wedding feast! The groom is our Mr. Golden Bamboo Shoot and the bride is Ms.Mushroom in from Taichung County. Look! Don't you think our handsome groom matched perfectly with our bride? Taichung City's mayor, Jhihciang Hu, and Taichung County's magistrate, Jhongsheng Huang, served as the officiating minister. The folks of Taichung City and Taichung County witnessed the marriage. In the feast, people enjoy the bamboo shoots and mushrooms, appreciate the display of bamboo art work and even learned how to make bamboo sauce. All the activities in this feast are fabulous, you shouldn't miss any part of it. Ok, let us give this couple our best wishes!!!

   Both Taichung City and Taichung County hope the marriage of these two agricultural families can promote the the business of agricultural products and  domestic economy. Furthermore, they might even develop central Taiwan's industries and  make the relationship between Dakeng and Xingshe Township better and attract more visitors to central part of Taiwan.

Activity's content

Taichung City's cold golden bamboo shoot collocated with Xingshe Township's mushroom and hold a special rainbow wedding. On that day, there were the feast of golden bamboo shoots and Xingshe's mushroom cuisine, the cooking contest between golden bamboo shoots and Xingshe mushroom, the sale of Taichung City's agricultural special products, the display of bamboo art, bamboo appliances, bamboo art work, bamboo sculpture, bamboo weaving display and display of bamboo shoots' cuisine etc. There were also the sale of Dakeng's agricultural special products, bamboo weaving art, children folklore, peeling bamboo, cutting bamboo contest, going for a stroll and digging bamboo shoots in the bamboo forest, learning to make bamboo sauce and other activities.
