Baozhilin is a used furniture recycling center. It was established on December 21^st, 2002. It is an organization related to our daily life because it helps us recycle the furniture that we threw away."Turn the Trash into Treasure"; these used furnitures are repaired by the staff so that the old or broken furniture can be used again. Little Tangerine really admired these staff for their endless effort on conservation.

  You might wonder,"but.. but.. why are you introducing it, Little Tangerine?" Well, because Baozhilin locates in Dakeng, it therefore relates to our research project. Baozhilin is one of the departments in Bureau of Environmental Protection. It advocates the importance of the " environmental protection " and teach people that we should build a concept of recycling what we have. It also lets everyone to learn how to treasure the current resource to achieve the purpose of recycling so that the used furniture can be recycled and profits our environment.

Baozhilin originally had two functions—furniture repairing and environmental education. After a year of constructing and operating, the only national multi-function environmental education provides six functions as the followings.

  Baozhilin often hold activities. For example, we attended the activity of Moving Castles—we used the used cardborad, newspaper etc. to make a castle. The main point for the activities is to ask everyone to pay more attention on the environmental protection. People need to develop the concept of the environmental protection. In order to make younger children understand this concept, most activities require parents and children or teachers and students to attend together so that adults can focus on environmental protection more and understand its importance. Baozhilin not only helps us recycle the used furniture to let our life more convenient but also holds several educational activities for us. We hope more related organizations can promote the " environmental protection " to the world.
